What's it about?
The FreeSkills4Pubs™ Training Programme is specifically designed for the hospitality and catering sector. It allows employers to get staff trained and obtain their personal licence to sell alcohol and their food hygiene certificate. It is also available for individuals wanting to enter the hospitality and catering sector.
The course consists of classroom-based training, led by a professional tutor, and on-line study from home. Each participant achieves a range of accredited qualifications including the Level 2 Award for personal licence holders, and the Level 2 Award in Food Hygiene for Catering.

The main objective is to give the business owner the flexibility to organise shifts and guarantee there is always a personal licence holder on site, this can include bar staff, supervisors, chefs and catering staff.

Where is it held?
Courses are held locally in conference facilities, usually hotels or council run premises or in the workplace where a suitable function room is available, or when the business is closed to customers. The room is set up with a laptop for every attendee, projector and printing facilities. Basically everything you would need to run a high quality training programme.

How are qualifications achieved?
All qualifications are accredited and achieve by sitting a multiple-choice exam that takes between 5-15 minutes.
